Initial Storyboard

Today my group and I have been asked to create a storyboard for our project. We had a lot of fun drawing each scene on the storyboard you see before you. Through the blog post, we are able to show the characters, camera angles, audio, and descriptions to provide our audience with a visual representation of our idea.

The Storyboard

To create this blogpost we made the decision to each create a part of the storyboard. I drew and wrote descriptions for 1 to 3, Jacob did number 4, Kayla did 5,6,7,8,9, and the last picture which is scenes 10 and 11 was drawn by Tyler. We felt that each doing a portion allowed us to all be on the same page and all contribute to the overall productivity of our blogpost. We knew we wanted to start with a crime scene as the first scene the audience sees. Tyler actually came up with the really good idea of having the alibi of the first suspect overtop that scene. Then we transition to the confession. This allows us to share who our first character is. We knew we wanted to also include mugshots so we conveyed that idea through our storyboard. Jacob and I came up with the idea of having the camera flashing and fading to white right after to then show the next mugshots of the other characters. My favorite part of our storyboard was how different we each decided to convey the scenes of our project. Our pictures and descriptions are all so unique which I think is really cool.
