Group Dynamics

Working as a group so far has been really great. We all work very well together and know exactly what needs to get done to ensure we have a great project. We have all been friends for quite some time now and we know we can all work well together. What really convinced us was that a few months prior to this we all worked on a Science project together. We were able to successfully complete that assignment and use those experiences to learn each other's strengths to use them on this project. Yes, everyone has been pulling their weight. We know that some people have better skills in a certain aspect of the project than others, so, that's why we all work on what we are comfortable with. For example, I designed the mise en scene and helped make sure everything looked good in the frame. Kayla and Tyler have been doing a great job editing our project and Jacob has been making sure we are on time with deadlines and is the main actor for most of the roles, so he has a very strong presence in our film. What truly helped us was input from our peers and YouTube. YouTube tutorials have helped us grasp some key skills in editing and understanding the software that we used because we were all new to it.

I would say I was personally most challenged by the editing process. We all attempted to edit something in our project. I was able to magically throw together the outline of the project, but after that, I did not know how to do anything else. I know that editing is not my strong suit so, Kayla and Tyler with superb editing skills took over and have been creating something amazing!
